AWG5014 • AWG5012 • AWG5004 • AWG5002 Waveform Generator Replacement

It’s long time since Tektronix discontinued popular Arbitrary Waveform Generators like AWG5014 • AWG5012 • AWG5004 • AWG5002 leaving a big gap into the market, in particular for 4 channel Arbitrary Waveform Generators.

Active Technologies can offer alternative solution my the AWG-4000 family which offer 2, 4 and 8 channel Arbitrary Waveform Generator models.

The operational flexibility and pattern generation capability of the Pulse/Pattern Generators makes them suitable for use in many different applications, including simplified simulation of serial data patterns when testing devices to characterize their performance under suboptimal conditions.

The Pulse Pattern Generator family (PPG), also known as Serial Data Pattern Generator (SPG), is designed to generate a stream of binary information.
The Pulse Pattern Generator is available as an option in the Arbitrary Waveform  AWG-4000 Series.

All the pulse and pattern parameters can be controlled run-time, built-in PRBS sequences, modulation features and transition shaping features, are the perfect tools for Jitter emulation applications, semiconductor and signal integrity testing, PAM signal emulation and advanced research.

Moreover Active Technologies Pulse Pattern Generators are equipped with an extremely easy to use interface that takes full advantage of a 7″ capacitive touch-screen display: you can replace legacy products with the maximum flexibility control and a powerful analog frontend.

Single Photon Workshop 2024

Single Photon Workshop 2024 – Edinburgh

single photon workshop 2024

The Single Photon Workshop (SPW) is the largest conference in the world dedicated to single photon generation and detection technology and applications. The biennial international conference brings together a broad range of people across academia, industry and government bodies with interest in single photon sources, single photon detectors, photon entanglement, and their use in scientific and industrial applications. It is an exciting opportunity for those interested in these technologies to learn about the state of the art and to foster continuing partnerships with others seeking to advance the capabilities of such technologies.

Professor Gerald Buller, Heriot-Watt University and Professor Robert Hadfield, University of Glasgow have been nominated to bring the prestigious 11th Single Photon Workshop to Edinburgh. The Conference is Scheduled to take place at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) over the five-day period, 18-22nd November 2024.

Don’t miss to visit our booth and meet our team. Arbitrary Waveform Generators and Fast Pulse Generators can be used to support Quantum experiments as described in these  APPLICATION NOTES.

UK National Quantum Technologies Showcase

UK National Quantum Technologies Showcase

Quantum tech showcase

The UK National Quantum Technologies Showcase will return in 2024 on November 8th in London’s Business Design Centre.

The showcase offers a platform for attendees and exhibitors to connect, fostering collaborative relationships at one of the UK’s most significant quantum events, and gain a deeper understanding of the growing commercialisation and industrialisation of quantum technologies. This year’s showcase also marks marks the first decade of the UK National Quantum Technologies Programme (UKNQTP), a unique partnership between academia, industry, and government.

This year’s event is being organised by Innovate UK’s Business Connect unit (formerly KTN).

Location: Business Design Centre

Address: 52 Upper St, London N1 0QH

Active Technologies  is here in cooperation with RF Channel, authorized agent and distributor in UK. Don’t miss to visit our booth and meet our team. Arbitrary Waveform Generators and Fast Pulse Generators can be used to support Quantum experiments as described in these  APPLICATION NOTES.
