Photon 2022 is the eleventh conference in a biennial series that started in 2002 covering optics and photonics. This year the conference will be held as an in-person event with live streaming capabilities enabling participants to access the talks online.

During the event, participants will have the opportunity to hear from leading experts in the field, attend lectures from leading technology experts, and visit the exhibition profiling the latest in optics and photonics technology. The programme will consist of plenary and invited talks, as well as contributed presentations and posters. There will also be ample opportunity to network and explore collaborations with colleagues.

 

Active Technologies supports the research activities with AWG-5000 the world’s fastest 16 bit Arbitrary Waveform Generator, the only instrument capable to reach 5Vpp – 110 ps rise and fall time at the output. Thanks to this unique feature the AWG-5000 can drive directly an EOM (Electro Optical Modulator) avoiding the need of an external amplifier.

The AWG-5000 can be used to generate arbitrary sequences and fast pulses down to 230ps of width.

2017 end of the year message

 

This is a great year for Active Technologies, we are approaching the end of 2017 with amazing results. We delivered on the market the new Riders series, boosting our business in generator market by over 400%!  Rider Series has been well adopted by the key customers. The Pulse Rider is now considered the best, easy to use, fast edge (70ps) unit for Research applications. Several scientists now have a real solid alternative for ultra-fast pulses generation and engineers have the perfect solution to be used for semiconductors validation. The new Rider 4000 series is now considered the best price performance AFG-AWG and Pulse generator on the market. Stay tuned during 2018, more disruptive Riders will complete the series adding oversampling specs combined with multichannel solution. I also like to thanks all our employees and partners for the outstanding job done during this year; this success is mostly driven by trust on us and confidence of our products. Let step up in 2018 with great products and an amazing distribution channel.
