Storage and retrieval of microwave pulses with molecular spin ensembles

Fast Arbitrary Waveform Generator for microwave pulse generation

Another great result achieved by our partner Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia (CNRNANO dept.), adopting our AWG4022 Arbitrary Waveform Generator.

The generation of modulated pulses at microwave frequencies is one of the most hard challenge for physic researcher. A dedicated setup with a RF generator and a fast Arbitrary Waveform Generator is required.

Today 7th of August 2020, the science journal Nature published this article:

Storage and retrieval of microwave pulses with molecular spin ensembles

Waveform generator for microwave pulse

The full paper is available on nature.com website.

Active Technologies offers a large set of Arbitrary Waveform Generators capable to reach microwave frequency. In particular the new AWG-5000 includes an integrated I/Q modulator to push the output signal frequency up to 6 GHz.
